How “Visualizing Your Victory” Can Make It Happen

There's a thing called “manifesting” your dreams into reality. If you've heard people say they "claimed it" and it became theirs…believe it! Visualizing your victory is a proven way to turn your dreams into reality.

Which is why highly successful athletes do this to make their wildest dreams come true. Yes, it might sound like a reach, but when you decide to give it a shot, you'll see the huge impact of this simple approach.

So this week, dedicate 2 minutes each morning to mentally put yourself in the place you've dreamed of all your life. 

Is it hitting the game winning shot? Or is it leading your team to victory? Whatever it is, dream about it for 2 minutes each day.


Here’s how:

Decide what you want to accomplish. What victory would you like to create? Pick something you’d really enjoy!

  1. Create a mental image. Envision you’re sitting in a movie theater watching yourself living that victory on the big screen. See yourself watching yourself living that victory.

  2. Bring this image to life. Strengthen the image by bringing in your 5 senses. What do you see, smell, taste, hear, and feel in this image? 

When you consistently picture yourself living in your victory, your mind convinces your body to keep pushing toward this goal.

And here’s a pro tip…

You'll know you’re getting closer to living your victory when just picturing it in your mind makes you smile, or when you start feeling that flutter of excitement in your body. That’s how you know it’s working!
